Republicans are trusted more than Democrats on voters’ top issues and, in what may be the worst omen for President Joe Biden’s reelection bid, most answer “no” to a key question.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 39% of Likely U.S. Voters say yes when asked, “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” Fifty-four percent (54%) answered “no” to that question, which was made famous by Ronald Reagan in his 1980 debate with Jimmy Carter.
